A Brutalisation Like No Other

We all saw the footage yesterday, of what was nothing less than cages constructed to hold starving Palestinians as they waited for a scrap of food – food denied to them by the illegal blockade and total siege on Gaza which has now been going on for four months.

That is, four months of not a single drop of food or aid going into Gaza, for a population of 2.1 million that is now not merely on the brink of starvation but already there. “Israel” has deliberately withheld aid, whilst continuing to heavily bomb a civilian population of up to 50% children.

The population of Gaza is exceptionally young, because many Palestinians do not make it to old age – the siege of Gaza is not a recent phenomenon, it has been ongoing since 2005, and the slow extermination of its people coincides with the establishment of the apartheid state of “Israel”. As they say: “The Nakba never ended”, a truth that Western audiences are largely ignorant of or apathetic to.

Gaza, at slightly over a third of the size of Hiroshima, has now suffered the equivalent of two nuclear bombs – however, due to the relative potency of modern bombs, the bombardment is actually greater.

It has not only been under the heaviest bombing in history relative to its tiny – and ever shrinking - size, but “Israel” has used internationally banned weapon such as cluster bombs that cause severe, disfiguring and excruciating shrapnel injury and white phosphorus that results in severe burns and agony. The intent, is clearly to cause as much damage to civilians, including children, as possible.

And now Gaza is suffering one of the worlds’ worst hunger crises – or the worst manmade hunger crisis in modern history with its population facing prolonged food shortage; almost half a million people are facing starvation, illness and death. And yet the strikes and drones, the bombing and military offensive continue unabated.

Ethics in Crisis: The US Food Distribution Programme

Yesterday, desperate Palestinians walked for hours in the blazing sun; people who hadn’t eaten in days, and have no access to clean drinking water, walked miles, and then queued up in these manmade cages in order to receive some food, that would be rationed out to them by US ex-military contractors (who would store their biometric data using programmes like Lavender, which are then used to target and kill civilians).

And although the whole of Gaza is now at a critical stage, as in any society, it is the most desperate people who will take the greatest risks. Yesterday, these people who were starving and desperate, and who wanted only to obtain some food for themselves and their families – submitted themselves to the pain and humiliation of standing for hours in human cages guarded by US military, knowing that they would be ID’d and subsequently tracked.

The scene descended into chaos, as you would expect. Human beings have their limits, and the Palestinians have had suffering upon suffering heaped on them without respite. Israeli forces opened fire on them, which resulted in three deaths, numerous injuries and reported kidnappings of some of the Palestinians there.

“Netanyahu” has recently stated that he would let only a “basic” amount of food into Gaza, enough to prevent full-scale famine, in order to facilitate and “make acceptable”, his plans of military expansion.

This food programme developed by the US and “Israel” has been shunned by the UN and other aid agencies, on the basis that it does not respect fundamental principles of humanity. Jake Woods, the GHF’s executive director resigned on Sunday, also out of concern that the programme could not fulfil these principles of basic humanity. When a US mercenary resigns on the basis ethics, you had better bet that the plan in question is bad news.

The 400 UN truckloads of food awaiting distribution at the Kerem Shalom crossing since Tuesday evening remain there. Trucks of food and supplies have regularly remained at the borders of Gaza, rotting rather than being allowed through to the besieged population.

The View of the Majority of “Israeli’s” and Jews Worldwide

Most of the people of “Israel” support the policy of starving the Gaza population, and many of them are regularly seen trampling over aid and violently blocking the trucks, from adults to children, maniacally dancing in rage at the idea of allowing in food to starving children and babies.

A recent survey showed that 53% of “Israeli’s” oppose allowing humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip. This figure was last year 72%, with a shift in figures being attributable to a number of factors, not least that “Netanyahu” has shown his indifference to the fate of the “Israeli” hostages still inside Gaza, as well as the toll that constant war is taking on their own population.

Nonetheless, the fact that the vast majority of “Israeli’s” opposed the entry of aid – food, medicines – to a civilian population which have nothing to do with the actions of Hamas, on the spurious basis that Hamas was once upon a time elected by a people who had very little other option under the constant brutalization they have undergone for 76 years, reveals only their hateful and sadistic, genocidal mindset – as do the plethora of shocking comments from their own elected politicians.

The majority of Jews worldwide support these actions, especially Jews in prominent positions. Many Jews around the world equate killing the children and babies of Gaza with somehow “feeling safe” around the world, and yet scream “blood libel” whenever anybody rightly accuses them of targeting children.

But a killing campaign of the most vicious kind, spearheaded under the banner of the Star of David and “sanctified” by lines of Hebrew scripture, upheld by references to slaughtering Goyim – cannot then be backtracked from. There is a deep-seated need to unpick some of these causalities that have brought us to this dark point in history.

Jewish Supremacy, Dehumanization and the Horror of our Time

That scenes like this can unfold on our screens and yet are relegated to the more minor headlines in the mainstream British press and media – not a single newspaper cover has displayed these scenes or commented at length on this tragedy except in detached and neutralized terms, as if the Palestinians of Gaza are being visited by this tragedy from some abstract source – is disgusting to say the least.

The concentration camps of Gaza, where civilians are tortured, bombed, starved and humiliated, where the entire population are at critical risk of famine, and babies are dying of starvation, has merited the strongest condemnation of “Israel” yet, but that is essentially, still toothless and without significant effect of any kind.

“Israel” is still participating in events in the public arena, and still enjoys significant privileges on the world stage, it still receives weapons and arms from the UK, Italy, Germany and of course, the US – billions of dollars of arms have been supplied to “Israel” - all in order to bomb a starving and besieged population of civilians.

This is the absolute horror of our time, unfolding before our eyes and yet still ignored by so many. Not only this, the scenes of Palestinians in cages waiting for food, is a replica of the Warsaw Ghettos of the 1940’s.

The Jewish Supremacist State of “Israel” continues unabated for now, on its unhinged trajectory of creating a dystopian reality of brutalisation, starvation and concentration camps in the service of continuing its genocidal land grab. But it is still not too late for us to save 2 million people, by speaking up and speaking loudly in whatever way we can, now.
